- EXACTLY!!!! show me one PC gfx accelerator that can do what the custom chips do and let's do comparisons of
- who's better, in the mean time, don't say any nonsense about the chip-set cuz you obviously hav'nt used them to
- their full potential, they're HIGHLY specialised chips, designed specifically for high-quality graphics, and
- considering the relativly low price of even an accelerated A1200, that's quite an accomplishment, and besides
- there are gfx accelerators for heavy 3D applications that together with the chip-set put every PC as a museum
- exhibit item, nothing to look at. try running games, and that's the best measure IMHO because most ppl use the
- Amiga in that way and you'll see the difference, you can joke as much as you want but the AGA chips make a much
- better jobs handling the display and sound of such applications than any PC gfx accel. can. what the Amiga
- lacks is simply RAW computing power, but that'll change as soon as the PowerAmiga's are introduced, then we'll
- really be kickin' some PC ass. this step will definitly put the Amiga as the leading platform and consequently
- as the dominant machine, fair well to the PC, that lousy excuse for a computer. hehehe.
